ONLY LOVE IS TRUTH
AND TRUTH IS LOVE
In this poem, I am
reflecting on LOVE which is the accomplishment of our life as rational beings
and as Christians. Do we really love each other? Do we really love one another as Christ
taught us? Most of the time we are confused and we are cheating ourselves with
the external signs, gestures and appearances. We stay there and we think that
we love.
Is it enough to
say from the appearances that we love each other? I don’t think so. Love
is more than appearances. Love goes deeply into our hearts and transforms us. ONLY LOVE IS TRUTH AND TRUTH IS LOVE.
If we discover Truth within us, we discover at the same time Love in us and
vise-versa, and then we are able to go beyond simple pretensions which are only
lies. Only TRUE LOVE, from our hearts, is the therapy to the sickness of
our actual world. As rational beings not to love each other is to deny, to betray our rationality.
But only God knows
our hearts. He knows our truth. He knows if we really do love or not. He knows
if by our attitudes we are cheating one another or not! He knows our inside
than we do.
Let us reflect together on these few
words.
J’aime, j’aime, j’aime,
